Buy and sell USDT for birr, peer to peer.
USDT is locked in a smart contract. You pay the seller directly with Telebirr or a bank transfer. ETB never enters this platform.
How a trade works
1. Seller publishes an ad with a rate and payment details.
2. Buyer opens an order for a specific amount.
3. Seller locks the USDT in escrow — verified on chain.
4. Buyer sends ETB directly to the seller and records the declaration.
5. Seller confirms receipt and releases the USDT.
6. The contract pays the buyer (minus fee) and the treasury the commission.
What this platform cannot do
It cannot move your birr, see your Telebirr PIN, or release escrow because a timer expired. A disputed order stays frozen until the arbiter resolves it on chain.
Test money
This instance runs on a private test chain. Claim free test ETH (for gas) and 5,000 test USDT so you can try a full trade. Nothing here is worth anything.
